This was a great short lesson, all your lessons are very good, and I'd advise any serious student to watch ALL your videos. And any serious Metal guitarists, who have great technique, and wanna play this style, should definitely watch what you teach. If they take in your advice, these hacks can literally have them playing this style VERY competent, and quickly if they put in the time. The best book that I had when I was younger, and it was all I could get back in the 80's was "Scales and modes, in the beginning." The section on Harmonic Minor, had great fingerings with the dots. that really opened my ears, eyes, and subconscious. It wired me right into playing lines that weren't scales? In fact, that book, was my AH HA moment. all guitar players encounter this, and not just once. I'm wondering if you have done a video on using pentatonic lines, and even bluesy lines, in the Gypsy swing style? I mean I just think pentatonic minor, or major, they can both work, Over dominat 7 chords, thats basically what you do. Thx again Sven.

Hi Christopher, Yes I actually studied music in Arnhem (NL) It helps, but playing gigs and learning techniques is even more important I think. But... Theory helped me a lot of times 😅🙏
