Yeah! Easy! I got it! Thanks a lot! I couldn't understand a word but it really wasn't necessary, the video itself is perfectly enough. Right way.

Hey Sven. I want to share with you and with other people starting your tutorials how I'm feeling about all this (I'm French, English isn't my native language so pardon my Fr... my English). First, I think many of us, when starting to follow your lessons, didn't wait an entire week before to go to the next tutorial. I'm at my day #3, I'm not too bad at the Hop Walk, even it's not as smooth as you and I already watched the second, third and fourth tutorial. V-Shifting is easy but also very hard. Easy to put the feet in an open V as you do but really damn hard to do it in rythm with sweet transition. For the moment, my feet still hurt me a bit because I practiced as much as I can during these three days. As with everything, it won't hurt anymore after a while. In my minds, learning more than just ONE move is better since when you feel enough to make bad moves, you can practice on another one. So... Practicing is good but practicing wrongly isn't ! My moves aren't smooth, maybe I'm doing something wrong but then how can I know where's the wrong in my moves ? You speak about to practice a lot, which is true but HOW did you start ? How did you practice ? Were your moves awkward at the beginning ? Like slow V-Shifting or losing balance a lot ? Did you learn alone ? How long did it take you to perform as you do ? I may answer to myself in, like, one year to see if I really progressed. Why ? To help others staying motivated cause we always see, in comments, people saying "thanks" or "great" but we never see those people again. Where are they three years later ? Are they great dancers or did they stop after a week ? Love from Lothringen - Frankreich (Lorraine - France)

Love your dancing, style, the music, and these tutorials- thanks so much! One thing though.. it would be a lot easier to watch and learn if the camera held steady on a full view of the dancers, instead of cutting to different close-in views and jumping back and forth. Yes, that looks flashy and production-like, but it's much harder to see what's going on and learn. I want to tell the camera to stop and let me watch all of it together!Otherwise awesome, you've got such great moves! Thanks!

@SvenOttenJustSomeMotion9 жыл бұрын

It's getting complex! People (Adrien2002) asked about practice. My recommendation for practicing new physical moves - do it slowly until you can do the moves over and over without a mistake. Remember - you are making new pathways in your BRAIN. Once you get the moves - you can speed them up. Don't give up. You will make mistakes, just keep practicing. Just think of how great you are going to feel when you can dance like this! No matter how long it takes!
