I still remember picking this game up on day of release and falling in love with it. Some people got bored with the game within a few months but it kept me interested till WWE '13. Wish Road To Wrestlemania would return for the newer games. Great review dude! Keep up the great work :)

This is definitely one of the better developed wrestling games. I haven't played one since SVR '10, but seeing the features on this makes me wanna see what this series is about. Not so much '20, I'm good with missing out on the video game version of Food Fight.

Something that they did well was after the predator engine overhaul was that nothing seems out of place now. In SvR11 the wrestler models were much better but in looking better they overshadowed everything else like arenas, fans and especially Caws. With the introduction to the predator engine, the wrestler models fit near flawless with the arenas and the fans, even the caws don't look too out of place. It's as if everything became a more cohesive experience

The reason why I love this game WWE '12 was my first ever Xbox game (along with others. My parent bought it for me on my 8th birthday in January 2013. The other games that I got that day were WWE '13, Minecraft, Lego Star Wars the complete saga, the first 2 Star Wars battlefront's (they work on Xbox 360). That's why I love this game.

I really enjoyed this game last wrestling game I liked. For me if the gameplay is fun then I will enjoy it more then if the games have a million features but dull gameplay. This game had the best of both worlds at the time. It moved away from the SD vs Raw gameplay I thought was pretty bland personally and had all these awesome features I really enjoyed especially the WCW stuff even if it wasn't 1-to-1 replica of later games. This would be the last wrestling game until 2016 when I bought WWE 2k16 and it was due to life situation keeping me away from the games in that era so this one held me down for some years. And they were fun years. From my understanding 13 and 14 were considered some excellent wrestling games which I should play some time but from my experience this game would be on my personal top 10 favorite wrestling games and even quite high on that list

_This was a Big Step, Personally I wasn't too much of a fan of the SVR Games as I only enjoyed 07' when this dropped. I was amazed I remember playing it religiously and I eventually got the WII version aswell and it wasn't too bad of a port. I also believe The Rock who I think was DLC when this game dropped was already in the WII Version as a Exclusive. But this game is my favorite Wrestling Game that and 2K17 along with the Fire Pro Games. And speaking of that, It'd be great if you covered the Fire Pro Games that were released in America along with the WWE Handheld Games along with the WWE Wrestlelfest that was released on XBLA and some others. But it was great watching your Wrestling Reviews!_

I loved this game. I actually really enjoyed the story too. I was kinda annoyed at WWE once again reminding us how it "won the war" at the end, with them knocking down the WCW logo and all, but I loved having the Nitro, Clash and Starrcade arenas

This was the last WWE game I played before returning to the series with WWE 2K17. I used to think this was a bad game, but looking back I think I was just tired of what was basically the same game year after year. After skipping some of the entries, WWE 2K17 feels a lot newer. As a side note, the hero storyline was great. It was like playing through a fantasy booking of the invasion angle done right.

Um Jammer Chelle yea I agree with Anson, there's a lot you're missing out on. '13 was amazing with the Attitude Era mode, 2K14 had the nWo (if you're an old WCW fan like me), and 2K16 had the Austin showcase which was incredible! Check them out if you like 2K17.

Overall I like it when they do road to Wrestlemania story modes. Don't get me wrong, it's cool playing classic matches, but I'd rather just watch them on the network than play through a story mode about it. My only regrets are missing out on Chainsaw Charlie and Mikey Whipreck. Two names I thought I'd never see in a modern wrestling game.

Yoshi Andreson I said this was the first time he appeared in the "series." Those games were part of a completely different series of games, while WWE 12 is part of the Smackdown/SvR/WWE series.

Yoshi Andreson no they were quite different, with the Smackdown series starting as a PlayStation exclusive developed by Yukes, and was later introduced to other platforms as the series progressed, while WM2000 and No Mercy were developed by AKI as a Nintendo 64 exclusive and that series was retired with the console. I wish AKI was still making WWE games, but unfortunately that is not the case.

Loved WWE 12 but I'm still mad the physics downgraded :( Eventually they were quickly even removed and till this day I'm waiting for a return but 2K is only making more restrictions :( (Like Ladders, Tables being placed in set up places and not freely AND some moves no longer unpredictable or restricted)

Alot of people I know didn't like this game but . Me personally I loved it the road to wrestlemania was great the DLC was great the gameplay was new so I was glad for that. Plus little things like being able to beat up Michael Cole and making Vader Light Heavyweight Champion cause of a glitch lol was fun to do. I know I can't get the DLC anymore but maybe I should pick this one up again. It was one of 3 wrestling games I sold a while back ago.
