I played this game year ago at a friends house, I actually like this game, it's different. With that being said, I also just picked up a copy for my 360 today. I've been on a huge buying spree over the last few weeks, buying all types of Xbox 360 games to add to the collection.

As a teenager, this was something I really, really wanted. My dad got it for me, and at the time I had ZERO problems with how the game played out because it was what I had and it meant so much to me that he got it. The gameplay is definitely terrible, and I wish we had a way to take that same roster and make it like WWE 2K14's gameplay. Nevertheless, this game served a purpose during the worst times of my life even though it definitely doesn't hold up.

They should've stuck to the Svr controls/models IMO and Macho Man definitely should've been added as well as the correct Attires/Title Belts for all the WM's for the WM Mode. And I would've had the Arena's go from WrestleMania 1-WrestleMania 25 especially since WM25 had just passed when it released I believe.

Also, the roster featured a few "WTFs", in my opinion. Michael Hayes, Arn Anderson, and especially Kamala. Arn Anderson did have a WrestleMania match to his credit (WrestleMania V with Tully Blanchard, where they helped contribute to Tito Santana's legendary WrestleMania losing streak after Rick Martel turned heel), but Hayes and Kamala both appeared in the WrestleMania X-Seven Gimmick Battle Royal, and X-Seven did NOT appear in this game. To be fair, Kamala was being promoted as having a match against Bam Bam Bigelow for WrestleMania IX leading up to the show, but the match was dropped with no explanation given on TV, so as far as I'm concerned, if you didn't actually appear on WrestleMania up until XV, you shouldn't have appeared in the game.

The Engie That Cried Nope I too belive this game had potentioal, but haveing this game be nothing more than a golrifed expansion for SvR 09 is kinda pointless. I find the idea of being able to important the roster from SvR 09 into this game if you own both games kinda unique but the models both games have different shadeings, light relfections, and textureing to them as Legends has a brighter tone to it pallete and lighting. On the subject of roster choice while some of the wrestlers put in the game are no brainees to be included on the roster (Hogan, Piper, Flair, Sunka, Slaughter, The Iron Shiek, Warrior, Breat Heart etc), others like Macho Man Randy Savage, Tatonga, The Nasty Boyzs, Tito Santana, Keven Nash, Scott Hall, Cheif Jay Strongbrow, Tony Atlas, Hillbilly Jim, etc are absent from the roster. I will however admit that the Relive, Rewrite, Redefine mode is an intresting concept for a WWE game, and Im glad that moments such as the Montreal Screwjob and when Hulk Hogan manged to pick up Andre the Giant and slam him to the ground at Wrestlemaina 3. Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross did an amazeing job provide the in game commentary, through I wish they would of also included comentary from Mesn Gene Oaklrland and Bobby Heman for the more 80s eras areas. Finally, despite the massive nostalgia factor this game provides, it really need to be its own seprate game but rather just as a series of DLC for people who own SvR 09.
