I had this on a Russian vinyl LP. It made me want to learn it; In fact it was the first Schubert sonata I played, thanks to Sviatoslav.

At once you can feel the tense, the eager, the expectation in Richter´s playing of this Schubert sonata which was one of the first records known in the "West" on a studio record. Here now You can hear it "live" from his home place, the Moscow Conservatory, - and can let hypnotisize yourself.
