SVR 1940s weekend - ambush re-enactment

Severn Valley Railway was transported back in time for an annual event where unsuspecting visitors would have thought they just stepped through a timewarp.
SVR's Highley Station and Engine House was just one of the organisation's venues for a weekend of celebration that made up its Step Back to the 1940s events.

The re enactors work hard to put on a show for the public. It is there hobby and they do it for the love of it, four battles were enacted over two weekends well done lads and ladies. And that's me doing the talk over.
