I used to live in Fla and drove over this all the time. I was there when Summit Venture hit the bridge and a huge section fell killing 35 people. It was a horrible day.

I REALLY LIKE THE BAY BRIDGE IN OAKLAND AND ALSO THE CHESAPEAKE BRIDGE IN MARYLAND A LOT, PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT IF YOU GET THE CHANCE YOU WILL LIKE THEM. THERE ARE ALSO USUALLY A LOT OF NICE CRANES IN THOSE AREAS TOO. PEACE LOVE AND BRIDGES BROTHER

Neither end of this is in Tampa or even Hillsborough County. You're driving AWAY from Tampa, actually, because the North Fishing Pier exit is at the beginning. So you started in Pinellas County near St Petersburg and Gulfport at Pinellas Point and crossed into Manatee County at Terra Ceia, near Palmetto and Bradenton. I live in Tampa Bay and used to live in SF Bay. This is equivalent of saying the Carquinez Bridge (a really tall, cool bridge over the Mothball Fleet between Crockett and Vallejo) is in San Francisco.
