It disappoints me when I see what Shahrukh Khan is capable of and what he actually is doing past decade. This was a masterpiece movie, the acting is less via words but more through eyes. The casting, story, script, cinematography is inch perfect. And to top it there's Rahman music! This movie and Rang De Basanti are timeless classics

He has done some of his very best acting in the past decade. Specifically Fan and Jab Harry Met Sejal were both spectacular performances from him and they did poorly at the box office exactly like Swades. He was also amazing in Dear Zindagi and Raees and they were hits. And that's without mentioning My Name Is Khan, Don 2, and Jab Tak Hai Jaan because they're hitting 11 and 12 year anniversaries. He does three massy films, one of which broke box office records, and you want to throw the whole decade out the window?
