Leaving NASA, leaving USA and permanently moving back to India is not that easy decision in real life someone can make, especially when you spent a good amount of time abroad. RIP all engineering logic here! SRK "raped" science when he said "Electricity is generated at 230V!" Electricity is present at even nano Volt levels. We use 230V in our homes. If not awarded for best movie, without a doubt SRK in Swades was one of the finest, most natural, effective and excellence in acting we have maybe ever seen. For that wish you get more general knowledge and not make urduwood your source of knowledge. This movie was copy of kannada movie Chigaridu Kanasu which was based on gyanapeeth award winning kannada novel by same name, which in turn was based on true story of a NASA scientist, a husband and wife pair, from Karnataka Andhra Paradesh border area and had actually made village kinda self sufficient. Of course movie is slightly dramatized.
