Hey there! The base/housing measures 11 inches in length, 2 inches in width, and overall length is 15 inches(including the folded legs).

Hey there! The 29 is great for shooting while sitting, but it's too short for standing (unless you put the legs on your hip). So, it depends on what you are wanting/needing out of the bipod. Thanks for watching!
