I totally get that shilling a gambling sight is, at best, unethical and morally ambiguous, but people keep putting so much blame on the creators and never talk about the fact that parents/guardians are ultimately responsible for their kids developing gambling addictions. I like to open cases every once in a while, but my father drilled into me the fact that gambling wears many masks and when you do gamble, you assume your money is no longer yours the moment you make a bet. Like, he took me to the racetrack when I was 11, handed me $5 and told me to pick a horse I liked. I picked a name I thought was cool and lost. Then he explained how the odds system worked and gave me another $5. I bet on the favorite and lost again. My parents also paid some level of attention to what I did online and NEVER let me use their credit card without supervising my purchase so they knew I was buying what I said I was buying. That was my difference maker. I was exposed to the same temptations as everyone else playing CSGO as a young adult, but my parents taught me good lessons as a kid and I never got hooked on that shit. Addiction is most certainly a disease, but responsible parents are the vaccine.
