Lol I love how there is no credit to USC given. They played their tails off, defense actually showed up with a bunch of hard hits and offense made huge plays when they needed to win but of course ESPN makes it all about the SEC team. ESPN has turned into such a biased joke with their coverage.

@@joshuapolite3054 your premise is trash. If SC is mid and they beat LSU then they'd be less than mid or trash... SC won while missing a FG, having a TD taken for illegal crack-back block, was a cut to the outside from Zach Branch housing a Kickoff AND on 2 separate occasions Miller Moss missed wide open WR for TDs he didn't see. That's potentially 4 TDs and a FG, not scored on drives, 3 of which I think resulted in no points at all. This game could've been a much worse outcome for LSU. ESPN isn't talking about USC for the same reason they're not mentioning that the SEC is now 2-11 in the last 20 years when they actually travel go out West. ESPN is propaganda for the SEC win or lose.

Lincoln Riley’s best game of his career so far. He showed he can plan, scheme and win a tough football game against a physical opponent - without having an elite QB on the roster. That’s coaching, and he deserves credit.

I still put the SEC at the top spot, yes, but SEC fans pretend they are unbeatable and deserve half of the playoff spots. LSU, Texas A&M and Florida--two of them being home games for the SEC teams and one at a neutral site-are proof of that. Yet SEC fans will somehow find a way to beat their chest about Vandy this weekend.

The lsu coaches lost that game by having their corners playing 10-12 yds off on that last drive. Then the d just looked awful. On the last drive lsu allowed usc to EASILY get to lsu's 42. 1:49 is plenty of time to pick up a few first downs. Db's were playing soft i just didnt understand what lsu was doing. Then on the 42 usc qb made a GREAT throw and the db got called for targeting. Then the td run by marks. That was the worse defense ive ever seen on that last drive.

As a USC fan, I watched Brain Kelly's teams plenty of times because I am also a Notre Dame fan. How does that work? I root for the underdog when they play. Brain Kelly always seems to lose the big games because he goes conservative. In those big game implications, he wants to play it safe instead of risk it. I did not know this was a big game with big implications. I thought Brain had the better team with the better veteran players because they had some success in the SEC last season. I thought Lincoln had so much pressure on him with a new team with minimal experience. USC still needs to show consistency because they fall off towards the end, but this game might give them a playoff spot. We don't know it, but this game was for a playoff spot. GESH! It felt like one, and we didn't even know. Unless you are a hardcore College football fan and saw this coming.

So now that USC beat LSU, all of a sudden they are 5-7th best in the SEC. What I saw last night was a USC team that can beat any SEC school with the exception of maybe Georgia and if USC had this defense last year, they would have been playing in the national championship game instead of Washington. Defense was surprising. Great tackling and swarming to the ball. Got off the field on 3rd down. That pass rush is suspect & we can’t put safeties on slot WRs 10 yds off the line of scrimmage. Offensively we gotta get more creative with Branch. He needs more touches. Our offensive line needs to get better with recognizing pressure & picking it up as well as Miller Moss. Outside of that I was very impressed. Gonna see how good we really are against the defending national champs in 2 weeks in Ann Arbor

Look USC recievers are second to none LSU were not excepting them to catch the ball. Before caleb we usc had sanctions which gave us bad qb dline and oline play but our rb and revievers were all 5 stars. Now you add a decent defense and oline with those rec and rb USC is lethal 💯💯💯

LSU is seemingly a better team than they showed yesterday. Penalties, boneheaded play calling, and a lot of turnover opportunities that just did not go their way definitely played a factor. USC is much improved and credit should be given to them where it is due, especially on the defensive side of the ball; and LSU didn't beat themselves, USC flat out beat them by being more aggressive when they needed to be.
