Swami jee explanation brings so much clarity between the form and formless aspects of God. Love the analogy of the mango. We can only relish the sweetness of the mango, not the twigs or the leaves. Swamiji explains that "Hansa," who don't observe Maya, and on the other hand, "Paramahansa," who see only God everywhere. Such an elevated soul as Sukhdev meditates on Brahmanand. Ved Vyasa said that the beautiful form of Sri Krishna is soon realized; the personal form of Lord Krishna is so captivating that he immediately comes out of Samadhi and listens to Bhagavatam. Swamiji provides clear examples of sugarcane and mangoes to clarify this topic. The personal form of Sri Krishna enchants with bliss compared to Brahmanand.

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna made it clear that those who are steadfastly devoted to His personal form and those who worship Him as formless Brahman, both of them attain His Divine Bliss. The bliss relished by the worshipper of formless Brahman is called Brahmanand and the bliss relished by the worshipper of saguna-sakar Bhagavan is called Premanand. Both of them are Divine Anand. But the bliss of Premanand is something extraordinary and sweeter than that of Brahmanand. “Brahmanando bhavedesha chetparardh gunikritah. Naiti bhakti sukhambhodheh paramanu tulamapi.” (Bhakti Rasamrit Sindhu) It is said that if uncountable blisses of brahm were gathered together, collectively they still would not equal even one drop of divine love bliss.

Premanand is more sweeter than Bhramanand, as a Bhakti Saint Swamiji is teaching us to give importance to the Prem ras, by giving us the verses from the Briharanyaka Upanishad as how difficult it’s to understand the nirviklpa samadhi, Advaita sidhant of jyanayoga marg to perceive the self. So swamiji is prodding us to make a decision about to be intelligent just like shukadev Paramahans who is unnecessarily worshipping the formless Bhraman aspect. We have to eat the mango fruit not the leaves and twigs. Just like the fruit will be obviously sweeter than its branches and leaves even in the hypothetical case of sugar cane fruit it will be even sweeter than sugar cane itself, we can estimate the sweetness in Premanand rather than Bhramanand.
