Brendan is one of the most underrated youtubers because unlike other lazy youtubers that have like 2 million subscribers and just film off of an iPhone and literally doesn’t get any fishing on camera he actually cares about his viewers opinions and takes time to get good quality content and shots almost like a television show. Great video man

This video ranks right up there with your camp pond discovery from years back that you did with your brother. It takes a sense of adventure to walk right past the "good lake" on the other side of the dam and trudge through the swamp to the "best" place. I am glad your extra effort was so amply rewarded...and of course catching them on your swimbait is just icing on the cake!

I’m from Southwest Ohio & I go fishing in Indiana 50 miles west of Cincinnati to a place that has nice fishing & on this certain lake I fish you pull bass like these out everyday , they start hitting around 6 am to around 9:30 or 10:00 am ish then the fishing slows down until 4:30 pm until dark . When the fishing starts to slow down I either start fishing with live bait on one pole & plastic on another or go with all live bait or head back to the cabin & grab some breakfast & take a nap & cool off in the A.C. Until 4:30 . I haven’t had any luck fishing at night for cat fish there but the bass fishing & crappie fishing is great . I never keep any fish I throw them back & let the future generation catch them . My Secret honey hole .

Put trophy bass on your lures and soft plastics. Fish will smell it and surely bite it. Yes, in merky water you can put trophy bass on. Yes even natural color. Fish will use their nose to locate scent and bite it. No need for bright colored or dark lures. Spend $25.00 and get you trophy bass. Youd easily spend $25.00 on 2 lures. Simplify and use trophy bass. Soft plastics like 4 to 5 inch finesse worms, flukes smoky blue and grub worms. Use grub worms on 1/16 oz crappie jigs. Top water lures like Berkeley choppo a kvd splash, a 3 inch jerkbait with 2 treble hooks. Also, last but not least a wakebait. I simplified and caught way more fish. Early spring is tough no luck yet.
