Just a heads up iron is very important. When you think you have enough you don't spend plenty of time mine and smelting it up. I filled up an entire iron box and cart and I still need it and I am well past the Swamps.... Merry Christmas!

Hi Caster, I hope you had a nice christmas. Glad to see you're doing great in the world of Valheim. Only little tip I'll leave as a christmas present is: Height is an advantage in the swamps against everything but archers. Big fallen trees is a safe haven, double jump on the backside of the crypt to get up on the roof is a safe haven. It'll give you a vantage point to shoot elites and abominations. And try to remember, blind panic when facing multiple enemies will leave you with no stamina and a corpse run to do. But good to see you rediscovered the stagbreaker trick inside the crypts.

Crypto mining was rough back in a day😅 Blank portals also connect to each other. Meaning you can leave a blank portal at home and the one you carry with you on adventure will connect to it instantly without the need of fiddling with the name. Saves time and saves lives when you need to teleport fast in the middle of the fight. Also rule of thumb is: if you think that you have enough iron...mine a lot more. Iron is in demand pretty much through all off upcoming biomes.

Wow you got so lucky finding that Draugr Elite trophy so fast! Keep it safe - once you've found the trader you can use it to craft the iron sledge. Trader also lets you increase your carry weight, so a bit of sailing around to look for him would be a fun diversion from the swamp... Try find turnips first so they can grow while you explore... Use the krypte to your advantage when you are low in health 😊

and if you have 5 stones and 2 wood start a fire inside the crypt next to exit so you get the resting buff if no enemies are close (witch is different than the rested one and 4X more powerfull)

When your power is low It's a good place to get back your health, eat, take poison potion etc and also you can build a fire inside to get your rest back ;)

If you wish for a small change of pace, take your boat and sail a bit. i will try to be spoiler free as possible: there are some unique "locations" which can be found around the world of Valheim, these location i'm talking about are in Biomes you already discovered so no new biomes yet but they are a bit further than the middle of the map. Keep an open eye on your map for some Unique Icons popping up!

Use your terrain more advantageously. When being chased near a dungeon, jump on top and fight your enemies from there. 🤠

use the Stagbreaker, its the best weapon for hitting enemies behind walls, doors or scrap piles

there is no benefit to use poison mead after you get poisoned, so its better to have heal mead in your hotbar

have you found turnips? you need 3 turnips to upgrade your caulfrin for better food
