I used TotalBoat Thickset Fathom, maple burl, Let's Resin pigments and a TotalBoat mold to create this masterpiece. everyone gets burned out from time to time, and Family always comes first. Always remember this is YOUR channel! You do you, what ever that is and those who care will stay, and those who dont well they can move on. As for the typical KZbin bs.... Not much you can do about that. you could always move to another social site but you always risk losing everything you built up.

Well done for persevering on the finish! The Honey did the trick. I've seen others opt to spray clear coat lacquer well oil isn't working. That make must have been rock hard!

It really was. I used to use wipe on poly, but buffing 6 coats really sucked.

I really liked the narration. Don't be afraid to express you're creative artistic self in any way you like. Excellent bowl Ken. I like the narration. You do you and don’t worry about the other stuff. My channel isn’t nearly as big as yours, but I’ve noticed the same thing, pick up new subs and the same number seem to disappear in the next day, sometimes only an hour or two later. Makes it hard to get to the next level you’re after. Great video, well done, lovey bowl.

KZbin is the Devil

Congrats on the promotion Ken! 1) I have heard other instances of shaddow bans on KZbin, it's why I don't video. 2) The bowl turned out great!

I think the issue is that KZbin wants all creators to switch to shorts. Wood working and turning videos do not convert easily and are way more time consuming than the $.40 you make on a short. But the attention span of an American (Not dogging, but quoting a study) is now below 8 sec. Normally, they watch about 48% of my videos. lol So KZbin isn't wrong on the Shorts, I just think they are killing off the channels that helped them get where they are.

That's a good question. TotalBoat resin is food safe after curing and the Honey is food safe. Although it says on the side of the bottle to not ingest, but I think that means don't drink it. lol Food safe finishes are very controversial. I prescribe to the thought that most finishes are food safe after they cure. There are those that freak out when I say that. Meh! Hope that answers your question.
