i tried to use old test slates.. they do not work very well. the prev laser engraving seams to harden the material under it and will show through.. from my experience.. i had even sanded them smooth thinking the test parts where just top layer but loving the f1 ultra

@@TKs3DPrints hmmm is and mine down to use again. I start with 80 grit then move to 100, 120 till the old image is gone. I don’t like the way they look to sell them to anybody, but I do reuse them to test stuff.

Just a fyi the F1 regular if you push the start button twice you can also repeat the last file.

@@samz197 that’s true but its on the side of the machine. Having the touch on a pad reduces the chance of movement. Much needed upgrade.

Do I need to caulk the gaps between the wall and stained quarter rounds with color matching caulk or just leave alone?
@MoonpieCreations
@MoonpieCreations 4 күн бұрын
That is up to personal preference. I don’t caulk the gaps, but some people do. Depends on how clean you want the connection.

Try dried star anise. it's similar to the pods you used, might be worth a shot. It'd probably smell nice cutting it, too.

BRAVO! You nailed it! I’d like to see you do another one, with a more transparent and lighter yellow/gold. I love this one, I just think it would be cool to see one lighter because there are different shades of honey. Maybe also put the “combs” on their side, and it might look like a honey comb in a jar, from the outside. Just a thought. I think you had a brilliant idea! ❤

I'm not really sure why it would be doing that. Mine is still crystal clear. There are two versions when you order. One with a card and one without. I had a few so I got the one without.

More bark projects!! 99% of the time the bark is thrown away but this is proof everyone's doing it wrong lol. Also I thought you'd use stabilizing resin on it given how soft and fibrous it is?
@MoonpieCreations

In the full video I used TotalBoat Fathom and pit it in a vacuum chamber for the night. I am hoping that the resin penetrated the bark. I haven't heard back from the customer so I guess it did. lol

My dad was cutting wood on his circular saw when his shorts got caught on the spinning motor, pulling him down onto the saw blade. His arm stopped the blade (this was years before circular saws had safety stop systems). His 1st awareness was the sound of his blood splashing onto the floor.
