Swamping around .. Attitude cycles, the Leaf and the Commer PB gets disc brakes

welcome to oak swamp and another swamping around video ...this week I work on the garage door situation , I go get some tyres for the Austin big seven wheels.. I find an issue with 'the Leaf' and I continue work on 'Hey' my commer pb including front discs and a new axle, plus all the usual nonsense ...enjoy

Great mix of content as usual, thanks Bryan. If you haven't done it already, make sure to check the crank endfloat on that 6 is in range. Thrust washer retention is marginal if too worn and they can spin out with unwelcome results! Good news is that they can be replaced from underneath, without taking the crank out.

Ha ha, 'Neil you don't eat enough dirt', classic. My missus can't understand why I never get sick eating my sarnies with dirty oily hands. Working on dirty old tractors, getting cuts and not going bad. Was changing a CF gearbox up the farm and got a deep slice on my thumb. Just poured a drop of peroxide on it and no problems. Gotta eat more dirt to boost the old immune system.

Every time I think What's hapening Bryan a new video pops up! It's not often I'm reduced to tears wtaching a car building video but the sight of you feeding and giving the fox love did that. As a Pagan I have to say that you are indeed at one with The Mother. As to the subject of connecting a bike engine to a gear box - you want to look for a muckspreader's transmission. A chain drive to a differential which means that you can keep the sequential bike gearbox. Check it out and the downside would be scraping tons of shit off it. Next year I will begin a frantic saving campaign so I can finally come down and meet a true brother. Thanks as always for your lovely videos Bryan - they really make my day!

I do disk brake conversion often on old cars and when I go to build the caliper mount I take the bleeder out and screw in a air fitting . Then plug it into the air hose . That will clamp it down onto the rotor tight and hold it while you make the bracket to mount it . 😎👍

simply great, from making good stuff from rusty stuff to making friends with wild creatures that clearly trust you. Foxes here in Australia are generally hated as chicken killers. A mate of mine's missus goes for a walk every day here in outer suburbia and I told him about your channel and he told me his wife feeds a family of foxes in a park. They only approach her though when they are hungry in winter when there are not so many kids with junk food around.

I had to come back and finish the video. Over the weekend we were out cutting some maples and some others that had fallen around the pond. We have a wood splitter however the seniors of the group said we had enough wood cut and split for several years..which we do.....
