Excellent work Sir. The Em-EmMaj7-Em7 part makes the whole track for me, the little things you throw in sets you head and shoulders above all the rest of the backing tracks here on KZbin, Stellar indeed Thank you.😀

E Mixolydian works nicely. In fact, I think Fogerty's solo is in that mode.

CCR, where less is more. I was just trying to do too much on this one initially, then I remembered how Fogerty plays super simple parts and now I got that damn groove down 😂

Thanks for all you do! It's funny, you hear classic rock as a kid, a tune like Born on the Bayou and you label it as 'classic rock' then you grow up and experience life and try to embrace the suck and then you listen to Born on the Bayou and equate it more to Tool than you ever thought you would. Heavy music cloaked... then again I listen to 'What a fool Believes' and find that heavy too. Still, very hard to touch Tool when it comes to heavy, that's some fiercely desperate spiritual angst.

Its kinda funny that Fogerty sang about the bayou but had never been to one. He had never left California.
