SWANAGE - More Than Just a Beach!

This week we're visiting one of our favourite seaside towns in Dorset - Swanage. This is the first of our series of Secret Places in Dorset and this time we're heading to a nature reserve and tranquil paradise just a stone's throw from the busy beachfront town. But first, we have to go back to the turn of the 20th Century and board a steam train from Corfe Castle.

Swanage has a very special place in Claire heart as it was were she learnt to dive. We loving go back when we can for a walk along the pier and fish and chips of course 😂 I think the large white flowers are Ox tail daisies. We have a lot of lizards in Swanage which like to bask in the sun. We don't tend to get many snakes here apart from grass snakes and the occasional adder. Thanks again for watching 😊
