The T9 looks absolutely splendid, I saw it on the turntable two weeks being got ready. Not only does it look splendid it sounds great and looks very much at home on the Swanage Railway. Full credit must go to the SR for getting the T9 available for service since it came to Swanage last year and was found to have a cylinder that had to have difficult repair carried out. Nice video.

When the T9 arrived on the line, there was a list of about 30 different things wrong with it; from a cracked cylinder, to wheels rubbing on the frames. The SR loco dept. did an amazing job bringing the loco back up to a working standard for the Winter Warm-Up. Lately, it's been out of service due to a fault with the bogie axles that needed urgent attention. It's nice to have the old girl back in regular service, and as you say, it looks at home on the Swanage branch. Cheers.
