Wow, so you remember the area so well. Darlington was very much the centre of railway development. Thank you for watching and commenting. Cheers, Warren :)

Hi, a great video , first rode that route to Wareham in 1948 so my mother said ,only 2 months old . Really nice to see it all up and running once more and rode the FLYING SCOTSMAN on one of it's visits . Thanks for the video .

Those massive engines were sooo good out on the tracks. Limited to 25MPH on the heritage line but I could just feel how much they wanted to push on at a faster rate along the metals. Thanks again for your comment and support, Cheers :) Warren

Great photography but why the strained narration?
@Linleys Жыл бұрын
Hi Roger, sorry about the narration then. Are you commenting about what I say or the way I say it? I'm not any kind of professional so just do what I do. Feedback is important so please do explain more. This video has had the most watch time and biggest view count of all of my videos. Cheers, Warren

Excellent video but spoilt in places by inane music covering the sound of the train.
@Linleys Жыл бұрын
You are so right saying that, sorry. Not sure why I did that. I realised too late after posting and didn't want to remove and re-do. In later railway visits I have added a bit of intro and exit music mostly. Thanks for your comment, Cheers, Warren. :)

@@Linleys At least it was only on for a short time! I think we all like to enjoy the sound of the locos. The video was to a really good standard, clear picture and good sound.
