I have a theory about why we start so slowly. In the opening stages of games, when the opponent legs are fresh, they press us continuously. Time and time again we have seen that our players have trouble negotiating a high intensity press. They get frazzled and give the ball away. Second half, when the opponent tires down and the press is not so relentless, we grow into the game.

I think slow start is kind of game plan for Arsenal now. It can't be coincidence that Arsenal have been doing this for the fourth successive game. The best part of this plan, if it is, we seem to finish much stronger as the oppositions failed to cope with the speed and energy in the last half an hour of the second half. The worse part of this plan happen against Bournemouth, we had a mountain to climb and it all ended with a draw, two points dropped. If this plan is use and we go to the half time with clean sheet then we will be unstoppable.
