Having been an owner of the past few Husky FC 350 models ('17, '19, '20, '21, and '22), it has been amazing to see the growth with minimal changes year to year. The biggest leap was '21/'22 with the suspension changes, but '22 does bring Brembo components that go underrated here.

I have 7 hours on my '22 FC 350 and I'm in love (coming off a KTM 450). I see all the same things you guys do - super versatile and broad powerband, less moto intertia than a 450 lets you be much more aggressive into turns and it's less nerve racking than a 450 because you just don't have to be as precise. I've also had a few "oh crap" moments at this point where I've had swaps and little front end pushes that I feel would have gone bad on a 450 for me. I've also been getting good starts on the bike in vet class against 450s. This bike does everything right!!

Get the 350 and thank me later. It's the funnest bike I've ever owned (I have a 21 FX 350). So versatile.

Excellent review, I’m a vet rider and was considering a 450. After watching this video I may be getting a 350 instead

do not get a 450.. if your a vet rider... i can't stress enough. it's heavy and too much power. 350's should be standard. Even rhino goes on about how 450's have outgrown our supercross stadiums.

I'm racing the VETS here in Australia an purchased a 350f .They are a Fantastic machine. My lap times were quicker on my 350f than on my 450f.Lap times tell the story.👍

The Yamaha 250f is all around better than the 350.. and this is coming from a few A riders that had both.
@bradymxr46593 жыл бұрын
@Danny Rogers hey how is it going? Suspension wise out of the box Yamaha hands down is the best. Granted you will want to put stiffer springs in it depending on your skill level. I have a friend that is I think 250- 260lbs area riding a 2019 yz250f and he flys on it and he is a skilled rider and prefers that bike. Also Yamaha is known for long lasting reliable motors even every magazine has said that. I’ve rode other KTM’s and I’m not a fan of air forks at all. Also if you keep a bike till rebuild time the KTM will cost way more if you go OEM part like crank is close to $1000 vs Yamaha piston ring crank and gasket oem cost a little over $500.. plus cool thing on the Yamaha is you can tune it from your phone to how you want it ! Last week I almost rode a guys KTM 350 but I was burned out and so was he cause he wanted to try out my yz450. So maybe this week I can give you an opinion on his bike vs the yz250f considering the guys private track we go to has 3 yz250f. Lol. But just from the guy I rode with in my other statement that had both KTM 350 and yz250f he stated that all around the yz was the better bike for him and he was an A rider. He also like the yz in the mud better as well. The track we will be at will have stadium and high speed sections with big jumps and I will give you an idea how I feel cause everyone out there let’s me ride their bike which is fun. Also if you can find some ppl ask if you can take them for a spin. I know Yamaha has posted places they will be so you can actually test out all their bikes at whatever track they go to which is sweet so it makes it easier for you to choose.

I'm coming back after 20 years. I'm 5'11 and 220 lbs. I got an FC-350. At first it was a bit intimidating, honestly. And, i was wishing I got a 250. Having said that, after several hours I started to find quite a bit of comfort in it and I feel like I'll be able to control it soon. Now, would I have been upset if I got an FC-250 instead? Absolutely not. I still wonder if it would have been the better bike for me for the next few years. But, I'm extremely glad I didn't get a 450. The 350 is smooth and mellow RELATIVE to a modern 450. But, stock it's an absolute beast for a novice rider.
