Some things to note, as I used various Deutsch, Cannon, and Amphenol for over 30 years in aerospace applications. It's not necessary to remove the grommet from the rear of the connectors. In the shops where I mostly worked, we had small pump-top bottles that had a lid to prevent evaporation and contamination of the isopropyl alcohol we used to act as a lubricant and cleaner for the contacts. A ketchup bottle would work too. IPA leaves no residue when it evaporates, which is very handy. I noticed that Deutsch also sells the Steinel heat gun. Steinel guns are FAR better than the cheap ones you buy at hardware, auto, or home improvement stores. Their most expensive models let you select both heat and air flow. The one I use has two air flow settings, and is adjustable in 5-degree increments from 140 to well over 700 degrees. They are much faster than the cheap guns, and if you select the right heat, will shrink tubing without damaging nearby parts or equipment. They also come with nozzle adapters to concentrate the heat on shrinkable contacts and splices. They will make quick work of removing stickers and many types of adhesives. By the way, you may have noticed a small hole in the wire insertion end of the contacts. This is the inspection hole. It allows you, or an inspector, to verify that the wire is all the way inside the contact, making for the strongest crimp.

I love your content! Every build is amazing and unique as hell! I see you have to remove the oil pump drive belt to run the pump to build oil pressure before you start the engine. I just saw someone using a Peterson Fluid Systems 09-1501 remote filter mount with primer pump. It's a bit pricey, but it would enable you to pressurize the oil system via a direct connection on the top of the mount. You can avoid having to remove the oil pump belt to pressurize the oil system before you start the engine. I believe this part will make running a NASCAR engine on the street a lot easier, as well as add to the cool factor you have going on with Checkered Past! It will avoid additional wear on the oil pump and belt, as well as remove a point of failure by avoiding the belt removal and reinstallation procedure prior to every engine start. Thanks for keeping it real Tony!
