Swapping fuel injection back to a basic carburetor Suzuki - Geo 1.3 or 1.6 8v engines

This topic comes up quite often. I always recommend keeping the fuel injection system. It is superior in almost every aspect, but for whatever reason, some guys just want to do away with it. This video goes over the parts needed to make this swap possible.

I have an 8v 1.6 head on my 1.3 bottom end with a 3k carb right now, it was really simple to setup, just had to install a electric fuel pump. I'm doing an efi swap now its probably the simplest efi wiring harness I've ever dealt with. I would never go backwards if I already had efi

I did it, it was the best thing I did. sidekick 1.6 16v carburetor. injection never again!

Is the 1.3 samurai distributor a direct fit on the 1.6 8v sidekick ?

Any updates on this question? 1.6 8v, burned harness, going the carb route.. needing a vac advanced distributor. Will the 1.3 work??

My 1988 Zuk with 1.3L has a zenith carb on and it smells strongly of gas from the engine bay. Any specific area I should be looking at? Is it running ultra rich? Seems to run fine but smells bad. Thank you

Good morning, can I switch my g13a 8 valve sohc samurai engine over to fuel injection? If I put the intake manifold on from a g13b 16 valve dohc and could I use the distributor from the g13b too? Thanks
