I have such a hard time DNFing books that I don’t like. I’ll push all the way through to the end in the hopes that the ending will make me change my mind, but usually I still hate the book and I’m annoyed that I wasted my time 😂 But at least I know for sure that I didn’t like the book, all the way through!

@@tiffanyoates9856 yes so it’s basically about different ways to view yourself, wether that’s your spirit, consciousness, emotions. Learn a better way to tap deep within yourself. Theres also a lot I learn from that book about living in the moment and letting go out the past (trauma, anxiety, stress) so we as a whole can be happy in the present; that’s another major point of the book. I read it in 2020 and I think it’s due for a reread cause it’s one I’m always recommending.

To answer one of your questions (love that you do that btw): I used to be a completist but now I don't have so much time to read and really don't want to waste my time. I give it a few chapters/about 100 pages then DNF if I'm not into it. Most books I will put back on my TBR to retry and determine if it was wrong book at the wrong time. If I still can't get into then it's a DNF.
