My goodness it's been windy today... Any tips for putting a roof back on a carport? They may feature in a future video.

You should be proud of yourself and the progress on bramble cottage, Scotland is a beautiful place, unfortunately I only got to see Irvine many years ago and then the hospital at rockwall in a blizzard, so anytime you want to chat I'm happy to watch you wandering around the garden or the countryside. ❤

You really have had your setbacks but so lovely to hear your positivity and l am not surprised, it is beautiful up there and Bramble cottage will be absolutely delightful when you are finished. Roll on some warm Spring weather for you both and l wish you every success with job hunting Cameron . Thankyou both for your lovely videos, l thoroughly enjoy them, just a few more shots of those beautiful cats now and then would be a bonus!

Thank you so much for such lovely encouragement! We're learning as we go with the video-making, and very glad that you enjoy them. We would love to include more kitten footage if only they would pose more readily. We're convinced Suki knows exactly what a camera is and ducks when we pull one out. We must try harder!

Good to see you both again. You must have had the same storm as us yesterday. Hope Cameron gets work soon.

Yes, what a storm it was, but could have been far worse for us. Hope you came through unscathed and enjoying some slightly brighter weather.

Hello both...I so enjoyed listening to/watching your story and learning all about your journey to where you are now. You have made such a positive difference to Bramble cottage already! I'm looking forward to following your journey and watch how you adapt to your new life, and the ways you make it work for you both and your furry family! The main view from those large windows, look amazing! Well done both! 👍💖

I can relate to the wind. Here in NZ we are getting very strong winds. The forest has been closed many times to horse riders due to high winds and just out of Auckland we have had a tornado. I can see what a big job it is to remove all that gravel. Hard to understand why people would like it. Everything is looking great.

Hi, thanks for watching. The gravel certainly will take a long time and we'll just have to keep at it bit by bit. The concrete too! The winds we had the other day got to over 100mph in parts of the UK. So it was much worse than most of us are used to, but we're so glad we don't have to worry about tornados (yet)! British buildings wouldn't last 5 minutes in that.

Hi Helen, thank you for all your lovely comments - oddly we can now see all of them (I think). We have a lot to do over several years, but we will also be watching our progress with interest. Thanks very much for the encouragement. :)

@BramblesCottage Hello, I appreciate your kind reply, thank you. 👍..And yes, I see all my comments to you now, also! 🥳 Yes, it will take several years, but the initial 'push' will get you a cosy corner to sit in, somewhere to eat, & wash etc. Also some space outside that, you can be proud of and watch grow, whilst you're getting on incrementally inside...(speaking from personal experience! ☺) TTFN! 👋

Lovely video, thank you thanks for the update, while you were doing all the renovations did you check the attic? Has got plenty of installation and does the walls have cavity wall insulation if there is one as I’m a huge believer in the more you insulate property the more it stays warm

Hi, thanks for watching. Yes, we've been surprised that this house is quite well insulated one the whole - better than our last place by far. But it has several generations of extensions and the oldest part is 18th century, so just very thick walls and no cavities there. Interestingly, that's also been the warmest end of the house so far - those historic people knew what they were doing!

Hello there, this is my 3rd attempt to write a positive comment, but when I try to send it, it cancels it, instead!!! 🤞
