Swapping Out the Burnt out Motor in my Air Cleaner

One of the bearings in my DIY Air Cleaner motor seized up and shut down my Air Cleaner. Since I had a couple extra motors on hand, I figured I could relatively easily modify one of those to work for a bit of a cheaper repair.
Yes it's all vertical video. This video wasn't originally going to be a project video but after seeing how much footage I recorded for my Instagram page, I figured why not.

Quite happy with it, so far anyways. I'm still waiting on the start capacitor so I haven't been able to really use it yet. Trailer restoration will continue. Work has paused on it over the winter but I should be able to get back into it in the spring and hopefully can make some more progress then.

I enjoyed this video, and actually liked that it had your thoughts and processes in the moment instead of a voiceover. Sort of made it more of a story for me if that makes sense. Great use of old parts too!

Thanks! Yeah I don’t know how effective it is compared to the commercially available ones. But I do know that it was quite a bit cheaper this way, haha!
