And bhagat singh also read the book of Savarkar based on revolution. most Indian revolutionary have read Savarkar's book including Subhash Chandra Bose. Savarkar's book was considered as a Bible for the revolutionaries. You should read all that to judge Savarkar.

@sureshkant shinde Do you know why was HMS founded? Because of utter failure of Khilafat movement, which ended up in massacre of 10s of thousands of Hindus. Khilafat movement was Congress, Mohandas and Muslim league. You still want that HMS be associated with Congress in their "movements" after that. He wanted people to join British Army, so that they could train and gain military interest and revolt later. This idea was supported by Netaji. And later exactly this happened and was one of the major factor in sealing Independence. Also was a major factor in repelling Pakistan from Kashmir. 2 nation theory, He didnt. He clarified that his words were twisted by the leftists of that time. He was also the first to ask for full independence, Is he credited for that? HMS went into elections opposing the partition. Congress also promised no partition, but went ahead anyway after that, and did a spectacularly botched up job. So the very first manifesto of Congress was a deceit. Mercy petitions: This is Kala Paani we are talking about, try spending a day there. Honestly HMS had a very different work to do, with Savarkar in jail for long, Congress and Muslims would have taken the reigns definitely. Savarkar was a cunning fellow, if his mercy petitions were an act of attempted deceit, we cant know 100%. But 99% it was, if you read his autobiographies. Savarkar started the fasts and various other protests, he constantly asked for release of other prisoner in his petitions. If he found that some protest was not working, whats wrong in finishing that? You cant judge Him. Great revolutionary Bhai Parmanand, who was also lodged in Andaman, while writing about strike in 1919 said “For any conflich arising in prison, Jailor Barry and Superintendent used to hold Savarkar brothers responsible.” A lot of political prisoners have been given pensions in History. If you were to dissect lives of Mohandas or Jawaharlal like this, you could definitely dissect them way worse. For e.g. Nehru couldn't survive 12 days in Nabha jail, and cut a deal with Brits. That, now, is cutting a deal. What deal is conditional exit after heart wrenching 11 years in one of the worst prisons ever created? Or Gandhi who said: "Musalman by killing Hindus are just doing their religion, a Hindu shall not raise arms even if faced by them" Gandhi seems to be a bigot. I dont know. Or maybe read more and dont judge people who fought for the country.

@sureshkant shinde I think i have replied you enough, alleging, and then instead of even defending, changing topics is not my idea of a conversation Sir. If i dig, i can counter these points too, but then you will go about BJP or something. If you are bent on seeing all these organizations in a negative light and if you honestly extend this perception to anything else in your life, you will be in a downward spiral. You will find that everything has faults. From Savarkar to Mandela, from Modi to Obama. And you will find faults in Buddha and Krishna too. So rather than defending everything, i would advice you to stop demeaning everything. Look at the positive side once in a while. RSS has done more volunteeer work than any organization in the world. Floods or corona, they are active.They are political. But no one can deny that they have positively touch crores of lives. Something, I and also you cannot fathom to achieve in this lifetime of ours. Thank you. Jai Shri Ram

Manish. Ambedkar and Maharaj are deservedly among our popular heroes. But drawing inference from above video, we could say that there are countless other gems that were kept from the spotlight or presented in wrong light. We owe it to them to present our history as it happened. That includes not affirming ones favourites as THE most prominent. Because then it defeats the purpose of united yet multifaceted India. To Savarkar - Lokmaanya Tilak, Bacha Khan and Babu Genu would be equally Hindus. Wouldn't you agree?

One interesting point: His cast definitely had something to do .. because if you look at the status ( both liked and hated) for a very small minority they have made huge contribution .. various freedom fighters, Peshwas ( atleast First 2 + Mandhwrao) to two CMs of Maharashtra Mr Manohar Joshi and Mr Fadanwis, Gandhiji's politicla Guru was a Chitpwan ( Namdar Gokhale) and his main follower Mr Vinoba Bhawe was also a Chitpawan , Mahrashi Karwe so many ... unfortunately in today's dirty politics becasue of Mr Godse ( who was also a Chitpawan) people like Fadnwis get targeted .. and many of them have migrated out of India ( like Parsees) by the way even from being a conservative Chtipavan Brahman cast he was progressive about removing cast system from Hindu religion and was very scientific minded .

@GSS77712
@GSS77712 3 жыл бұрын
@@vaibhavrothe3820 That sounds like you. Had you really read a bit, you'd been able to make sound arguments yourself. Godse was initially a follower of Gandhi. He was a part of the Civil Disobedience Movement and had been arrested twice for blocking the roads in protest and distributing pamphlets against the British. He also conducted intercaste marriages and bhojans to break caste barriers. Campaigned against untouchability and even carried Dalits to Hindu temples on his back, like his mentor Savarkarji. Godse was disillusioned with Gandhi's whims and fancies and his generally erratic nature with regard to initiating and then withdrawing or not continuing movements. He was also upset with Gandhi for imposing his own personal interpretation of the Independence movement on everyone and disregarding the individual efforts of other freedom fighters. Gandhi and his sycophants were always presenting him as the ultimate and eternal truth binding on everyone and anyone in dissent was ridiculed and sidelined. Gandhi considering giving dominion status to British was another factor. Most glaring of all was Gandhi's pseudo-secularism. He asked Hindus to face their fate in the face of annihilation but insisted on the protection of Muslim refugees in India. Conducted a fast unto death for making Hindu refugees evacuate mosques in Delhi. Held Islamic rituals including namaaz in Hindu temples and even corrupted Hindu scriptures with Islam terminology in the name of "sarva dharma samabhaav" and "unity". Ever heard or read about "Ishwar Allah Tero Naam?" Needless to say, he never expected the same from Muslims in the case of Hindu practices. Conducted another fast unto death to release a payment of ₹55 crores to Pakistan despite general awareness of the fact that they would use the same to fund the 1947 Kashmir War against India. Which they predictably did and scores of our soldiers lost their lives. Gandhi's elevation to divinity and the projection of his truth as the ultimate one, with his over-pacifism would have further damaged the cultural and territorial integrity of India. Killing him became a necessary evil which Godse carried out. If not him, someone else would have for sure. Even some Congress leaders were glad to see the back of him. Is that enough of an argument for you or do you want more?

Then I think that forget about people who were not in congress but what did congress did with its own leaders like Subhaschandra Bose,Sardar Patel ( Nehru advised all his govt ministers to not attend S.Patel' s funeral) Even Nehru didn't attend the S.Patel Funeral , Lal Bahadur Shastri ( Not a single inquiry commission was setup for Shastri 's mysterious death, Narsahima Rao India's former PM who brought the economic change in this country after his death was not allowed to cremate in Raj Ghat in Delhi where all past PMs were cremated . So what treatment congress gave to Veer savarkar is not surprise for me.

By "one God " in a polytheist society by Savarkar is only in accordance with Sanatan Dharam of having multiple expressions or gods to thrive in order to focus on the one true God

What Babasaheb Ambedkar is to the 'Dalits', Veer Savarkar should be for the 'Upper Caste'. We should strive towards this..

@@Prafullhiwale That's why I used ( ''). The way Ambedkar is an indisputable and irreplaceable icon to 'Dalits', Savarkar should be because Caste Discrimination is displayed mostly by 'Upper Caste' so that they move away from Caste to Hindu Identity.
