9 AB was never a tourist attraction many years back when we were growing and ppl didn't visit that area except for trains passing by. So it was mostly wild life habitation surrounding the tracks with bee hives may have freely existed for many years. And now large numbers of human presence in their territory since late and that's a conflict between human and the wild life 😆. So ppl shouldn't upset bees bcs they are very territorial.🙄

The best instant first aid for bee sting is that honey should be soon applied to all the places where the bee stings. In sundarbans jungles, West Bengal , India ( one of the densest jungles) , the tribal honey collectors use this technique as immediate treatment when they are in the remotest part several days away from any habitation to keep them alive from bee stings if it happens . Hope all is well with you guys. Few simple suggestions to ensure safe hiking in areas where bees are likely present: Wear light-colored clothing. Honeybees have evolved to recognize threats from predators like bears, honey badgers and other dark-furred mammals. Also avoid the color red, which appears black to bees. Never approach or disturb a nest. If you notice bees entering or exiting a rock crevice, a hole in the ground or a tree cavity, assume there’s a nest present and leave the area immediately. Pay attention to bee behavior. If bees fly into you or begin to swarm over or around you, they are probably trying to warn you off. Remember: don’t swat at the bees, just leave. If you accidently disturb a nest, run immediately. Try to get to an enclosed shelter (such as a car) or run until the bees stop following you. It may be necessary to get a quarter mile or more away from where the attack began. Cover your face with whatever is handy, if you can do so without impairing your vision. Never jump into a body of water to escape bees. They will wait for you to surface. Schmidt points to a case in which a swarm of bees hovered for hours over a man in a lake, stinging him whenever he came up for air. (The man survived only because the bees returned to their hive after sunset.) Source: www.scientificamerican.com/article/summer-safety-how-to-avoid-bee-swarm-attacks/#

Gospel of Jesus Christ. John 3:16 For God So loved the world that he gave his only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not Perish but have Everlasting Life. Jesus Christ Died on the Cross for all the sin of the World, and now we can be Forgiven of all of our sins and be washed clean by the Blood of Jesus Christ for our iniquities trespasses... now all you need to do is Repent of all of ur sins (Repent means Change ur Mind turning away from sinful things and being truly sorry with all ur heart, and if you Repent and still go back to sinful things nothing will happend but if you are truly serious Lord will change ur life forever) (example of repenting Father God I ask in Jesus Name please forgive me of all my Sins I acknowledge that im a sinful man/woman I am truly sorry and trust in Jesus that he lived suffered and died on the cross for me and my sins so I can be Forgiven was barried and that you rised him on the 3th day please wash me clean with the blood of Christ make in me a new heart that can love and forgive Lord change my desires change me Lord Jesus come into my life change everything about me make me a new creation fill me with ur HolySpirit...)is what sin is Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of eternal life in our Lord Jesus Christ. and the only way to heaven is Trough Jesus Christ there is no other way! John 14:6 I Am The Way The Truth And The Life No Man cometh to the Father Except Trough Me. and you are saved by Grace Trough Faith not by works, we cannot save urselfs from sin we don't get to go to heaven because we don't get to go to heaven because we are a Good People we are not!, we cannot earn ur salvation it is given to us as a Free Gift all we need to do is receive it! Romans 3:23 For All have sinned and Felt Short of the Glory of God. There is none Good but God!, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10: Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Its so crazy to see this back on video. I just came back from Guinea in West Africa and also got attacked by an African honey bee swarm. I did everything i shouldn’t have done. I swatted them, jumped in the water and after that started squishing them in my hands. Until my friends saw me and came to help me to run away. It happend 3 days ago and am honestly still a bit perplexed and happy that I survived. I am now covered in about 60/70 stings with at least 20 on my head/neck. I wouldn’t be around to write this comment if i was allergic since we were on an island and it took 2 hours to get to the hospital on the main land. Whatever you do, RUN AWAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN!

Perfect example of booksmart vs streetsmart, still happy you're okay though! Always pay attention to what the locals are doing. If they start running, you run with them. Standing still and not provoking bees works in most situation but not all and this was the time to run the fuck away as it's a SWARM that's clearly already been provoked by some external factor and are already in attack mode.

That was so scary! One of the more terrifying experiences I can think of when out holidaying. You guys are a good sport; first, I saw your subsequent video where you mentioned the bee attack. Seeing you in good spirits so soon after the attack, especially Leanne, as she was even more shaken, is fantastic. Good to know you are fine now. Hopefully, the rest of the trip will be pleasant. Very nice of the locals too. They were pretty helpful, especially for Leanne. The only grouse is that some warning or advisory should be there when approaching the bridge. So that people who are allergic to bees can keep them off, and even if they are not, they know what to do precisely in case of an attack.

I am deeply sorry for the unfortunate incident that has affected all of you. It is believed that the presence of a drone near the bee nest caused the bees to become agitated and subsequently sting people. It is also important to note that bees can be found in Sigiriya, and it is crucial to be cautious and respectful of the local wildlife when visiting the area
