I use a piece old dark brood comb. Just lay it inside on the bottom of the box or use an old brood frame. Do not use honey. Scouts will go in without honey. Use new foundation for the other 4 frames to discourage wax moths. Put two or three drops of lemon grass oil inside and on the rim of the entrance hole. Refresh the entrance with lemon grass oil once a week or when you start to see some scout bees that show interest. I got at least 10 swarms this way last year. Good luck!
