Noone seems to be talking about using the 14x without a tripod. I know it's early but I'm hoping these will make high power bird watching more practical.

No worries, the extra FOV and optional forehead rest will make it more suitable for hand-held use than you might have expected. -Jason

@@EuroOpticLtd I had the 12x42 NLs in the past, and with the forehead rest, I could hold the bino very steady. Wondering if the 14x52 would be comparably steady, when used with the forehead rest.....thank you.

12x50 EL is still very good option. NL 52 cannot justify $1400 extra.

Depends on how many of the NL52 sell. If they sell well then the price can be justified.

I disagree on the SLC not being as good glass. I compared mine against the NL and I could detect no qualitative difference in optical quality.
