Swarovski Optik ATC/STC Compact Spotting Scopes

Swarovski Optik's new ATC/STC compact spotting scopes are just that, compact...perfect for backpacking or any instance where your space is limited. Though compact, they possess the same clarity one would expect from Swarovski Optik. I didn't have much time in the field with them, but did manage to get a small amount of footage through the spotter using my phone with the Novagrade adapter.

Just bought one at the Dallas Safari show. I was tired of lugging around my ATX 95 and was debating on getting a 65mm. I felt like spending money so I got ATC instead. 😜🤩

I feel like a pirate when I use straight spotters, so I use angled eyepieces also. Would have been nice for Swaro to incorporate a molded ARCA base into that half-shell, but it looks like it does fine with the universal rails. Thanks for the comparison to the ATX. It's tiny compared to that monster!! One of these would be nice for the range bag!!

I look like a newb when I jump on a straight spotter because I have used angled spotters for half my life! Takes a bit to get used to the angle change

I love the size and function, now if we could just talk someone to doing this with a mil reticle in it and a narrow beam LRF...

Swarovski do eyepieces with military reticle so maybe possible to have this an option in future.

I agree, would be great to see a premium, compact option with an etched reticle. This definitely seems like a great candidate for an etched reticle.

How would the Celestron - Hummingbird 56mm Angled Spotting Scope - Ultra Portable Micro Spotting Scope - 9-27x Zoom compare as an option? Yes, I know Swarovski is superior, but at $349 versus $2600 I wonder the ability of the Celestron?

Are you free holding the phone is that why the image is getting smaller when you zoom in ? Would an adaptor fix that image shrinking issue when you zoom ?

Pretty badass. I wish kowa would put their wide angle eyepiece in their little premier 553 but instead are using up their shittier narrow 20-60 eyepiece built in where it becomes a 15-45....old tech just like the swaro 20-60. Glad you guys decided to use a modern eyepiece in this guy. Wide fov are so much nicer than 10x extra mag
