Swarovski XILION Right Angle Weave Bracelet

Original Description:
Steph teaches you just how easy bead weaving can be! Using 4mm Swarovski Elements crystal XILIONS in Paradise Shine 2x, which was the new colour for Fall/Winter last year. The soft pastel grey bead that has a vibrant coating on both sides of the bead that shines purple and green. We have a large range of colours in the bicone shape, so be sure to see the full range as there is guaranteed to be a colour that matches every outfit!
Just by adding an accent down the edge of the bracelet with the spacer beads, Steph gives this simple bracelet a whole new look, and the silver colour of the spacers contrasts beautifully with the colour of the XILION beads.

For an 18cm bracelet, (including the clasp), you will need:
1m of 0.25mm Supplemax monofilament beading thread
2 x size 2 silver plated crimp tube
2 x silver plated necklace ends
2 x 6mm silver plated jump ring
1 x silver plated toggle clasp
70 x 4mm Swarovski XILION in Paradise Shine 2x
44 x 2.5mm silver plated spacer beads
(All findings and spacer beads are also available in gold plated)

Paradise Shine 2x Swarovski XILION beads were used in eth video (now discontinued).
All the range of 4mm Preciosa Crystal bicone beads will work as a substitute for this design and there's loads of colours to choose from.

This works up so quickly! The great thing about these simple designs is that they can have to many options. For the spacer bead, I used a 2mm bicone for the outside contrast--it fit perfectly! On the next bracelet I made, I used four 11/0 seed beads and made a picot for each space. Also, I love designs where a needle is not necessary.

Hi Nicky, the lovely thing about using Swarovski xilion beads, they make so many great colours you can customise a design like this to what ever colour you like.

I found if you start with 2 beads on each thread before the first bicone, it doesn't sit slanted against the crimp. Hope this helps😉

Hi Christy the right angle weave would definitely work in 6mm, it will just look a little chunkier. You would also have to make the spacer beads along the sides bigger, I would try a 3.5 or 4mm bead, it might require a little bit of trial and error to get the tension looking right. Hi Denise, if you colour the ends of the ends of the thread with marker pen or nail varnish they're easier to see. If you also hold the thread quite close to the end they don't tend to bend so much. You may also find if you cut the end of the thread at an angle and use a size 10 beading needle you might get the thread though, however personally I find this a bit fiddly.
