/ roestalker Just a short instructional video showing how to mount a rail mounted scope. This is Swarovski Z8i 2.3-18x56 riflescope mounted on a Blaser R8 rifle using Blaser QD saddle mount. This is Swarovski rail (SR), but the same principle applies to Zeiss and S&B type of rails.

Try both. I never shot 404 so cant comment, spec looks good though but I also heard about some problems.

+Frederik Christensen I prefer rail. It is easier to use. No need to level the scope. Also no ring marks on the tube if you want to sell it.

How do you adjust the origins saddle of it is wobbly on a gun itself. I tried to move my saddle from one Blaser to another and it is solid on on gun and wobbly on the other. How do one adjust the tightness of a saddle?

There is a screw opposite side of each lever. Original mounts sucks because you need special Blaser or very thin but wide screwdriver if you dont want to leave marks.

Chciałem zapytać ponieważ planuje zakup nowej lunety czy w lunecie tej klasy rzeczywiście widać lepiej niż w np. Docterze. Chodzi mi głównie o widoczność w nocy.

Nie porównywałem do Doctera, ale mam np Zeiss Conquest i S&B Klassic i w tej widać lepiej. Czy 2x czy 3x lepiej? Raczej nie... ale zauważalnie.

Darz Bór. Właśnie drapię się po głowie i próbuję podjąć decyzję jaką lunetę mam kupić? Myślałam o Zeisie Conquest 3-12x50 ale mam wątpliwości czy to wystarczy do nocnego polowania. Budżet raczej do 5000 pln. Jestem w kropce i nie wiem co wybrać? Może jakieś suestie ze strony Kolegi? Pozdrawiam Anka z Dolnego Śląska:)

Witam Koleżankę, nie jestem specjalnie zorientowany na rynku, ale jakiś czas temu kolega kupił Kahlesa CSX i bardzo mi się ta luneta podobała. Pewnie jest spory wybór w tym budżecie, ale innych lunet nie miałem w ręku, więc się nie wypowiem. Życzę połamania przy wyborze. Pozdrawiam i Darz Bór

Jest w komplecie w pudełku z każdą lunetą. Nie wiem czy można kupić osobno. Pewnie wystarczy zapytać Swarovskiego może wyślą

you have put the lever of the blaser saddle mount under the parallax turret, the disassembly must not be obvious, the position of the turrets of the z8 is a problem with the rail mounting blaser ...

Yes and I had the same issue with Zeiss. I think I would be better of with Innomount but only had original Blaser mount at hand at the time and never bothered to change it. It works, but it is not ideal.

@@RoestalkerCoUk I am about to get the Swaro with rail mount and plan to set up similar to what you did in this video. Do you mind expanding on this comment - what is the issue you and sy fe are talking about? do you know if the maklassic, recknagel, eramatic, or russian pivot mounts would have the same issue as the Blaser?

@@BB12u Depending on your eye relief one of the levers may be directly under your parallax adjustment knob and you will be struggling every time you will be taking the scope on and off. There are better mounts than Blaser make, see this video - where the lever does not open up/down, but parallel to the scope. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5KTdaRuoKlri8k
