You realize that at least for the lesser funded departments or departments that really need it, a lot of the gear and vehicles they have (like their armored bearcats and such) are extras donated by either local national guard or US army.

@@Cowaboogerone thing I learned from the Army was that our gear was the definition of cheap, it did its job but third party gear was 100% better, unless you were a operator like a ranger or a green beret then you got the bare minimum in terms of gear, the military knows soldiers like to fuck around and with fucking around comes breaking a lot of things so they have to contract gear that does its job but also is cheap to replace, I remember the first thing I did was purchase some Oakley boots and some new gloves from outdoor research to replace what I was given, now as for my kit from when I was in which was in 2016 you couldn’t replace critical parts of your kit like if you tried to replace your IOTV with a third party plate carrier like a Crye AVS you just wouldn’t be allowed to do that but things may have changed from then. Edit: it’s why I always laugh when I see the word “military grade” in media like movies or video games or In the news

Which of these plate carrier setups covers your body up the best with coverage with the plates?

All plates (cut/size aside) have the same coverage - that said, entry vests are usually designed to also accommodate traditional wrap around 3A panels and most folks run side plates.

I hope you’re a good cop man. I really am losing faith in the police system, especially after having AR 15s pointed at me and my friend for contacts. I was driving my granddad’s truck because my car was in the shop. We were coming back from a Super Bowl party and we pulled over and the first thing they do is pull AR 15 saying put your hands in the air don’t move. Then the other cop was giving contradictory commands. Literally thought they were going to shoot me.

Thanks for the content bro. I’m looking forward to detailed videos on your pc’s. My department is looking into buying gear and putting officers on a regional team and we’re trying to figure out how to run soft armor with plates and what not. (Whether or not to just run patrol armor with the pc or buy extra soft armor integrated in with the plate carrier). Also looking into buying extra radios or using reg patrol radios. The team is very new so we’re trying to learn as we go. Lol Thanks again for the content man.
