AR's in general feel bad in this game. Except the maddox. Their ttk is outclassed by most smgs except at range which is redundant on most maps.

@@NeroLeblanc I'd say outside of the Maddox, the Rampart is the only other good AR, but only if you have High Caliber 1 & 2 on it. The VAPR used to be really good too, but then they nerfed it and now it's as useless as the ICR. Spitfire, SAUG, and Daemon are the best SMGs by far, with Cordite and MX9 not far behid and GKS in dead last. Tac Rifles are good except the ABR which after the small buffs it got seems to range from below average to OK. Titan is pretty much the only LMG you need but the others are OK. Paladin dominates the other Snipers, but the SDM is a close 2nd. Koshka is OK, and Outlaw is bad. Overall the balance of the primary weapons seems to be pretty bad, thanks in no small part to the changes in the health system.

It's practically an ICR with better attachments: High Caliber Fast Mags Extended Mags Stock Suppressor ICR probably has the worst attachments options of any gun in this game. On a side note, I believe this is the only AR in BO4 that can use BOTH stock and FMJ. That's amazing! ICR, Rampart 17 have FMJ but no stock. Maddox, KN-57 and VAPR-XKG have stock but not FMJ. The only other weapons I think that can use both (not ARs) are the MX9 and Titan.

I’m gonna put my opinion here if that’s okay (knowing the internet these days it isn’t but whatever) This gun is exceptional, but only in Hardcore (mainly where I reside) for which I’ve played in both Core and Hardcore. It’s more useful to taking out a enemy that’s low on health. If they’re at full/Tak-5 boosted, you’ll lose unless you catch them by surprise. In Hardcore, this gun is built for it and in fact, it’s the best in Hardcore. With Long Barrel it’s possible to OSOK/TwoTap across the map which I love about it. Firing through the walls allows for a TwoTap and since the enemy can’t react in time, it’s great to have a swift and speedy kill. I’m just some Hardcore (Soundwhore) in Black Ops 4 and sure, there are tons of weapons that can OSOK at almost any range in Hardcore. I prefer this because it’s more versatile, allowing it to adapt to almost any circumstance. So… say what ya wanna say and do what ya wanna do, but I prefer this gun more than anything

They should remove the Quickdraw 2 attachment and add something else. Then they should add quickdraw to the VAPR and buff the firerate, but remove high call and rapid fire. I think that would make the VAPR more viable. They should remove quickdraw and fmj2 from the titan

It’s the ICR with probably the most versatile attachment pool out of the ARs. Stock, FMJ, high cal, suppressor, long barrel. Can’t go wrong with this gun imo.

The GKS is definitely one of my favorite. The cordite with the operator mod is amazing. I always seem to die when reloading so when you never have to reload it is awesome.

i do feel this gun can fill up the gap between ICR and other AR since there has no other choice except ICR if you want a stable long range AR. Maddox/XKG is great for close range n rampert, KN for mid range, long range between ICR and TR/Sniper/LMG? here comes an new option, SWAT. gotta love to use it since i am not really accepting ttk of ICR which easily get countered by the FMJ2 titan feelsbadman

to buff SMGs, i would make the GKS fire at 720 rpm, the MX9 fire at 800 rpm and reduce its recoil, the cordite fire at 900 rpm and take away its 5 shot kill range, the SAUG 9mm fire at 950 rpm.

If I’m adding four perks to a short to medium range and medium recoil assault rifle then it’s going to be the KN with rapid fire, stock, hybrid mags and elo sight. If I’m going long range then I’m going ICR or ABR. Just another gun to play with but nothing more.

Sounds like high cal is the difference maker with this gun and so I’ll probably just stick with the Rampart and it’s double high cal potential and the ICR for it’s all around capabilities. I’m in no rush to get this gun, but I’ll play with it a bit when I do unlock it.

Hi Ace, quick question. I play on Xbox 1. While running quickdraw and hung-ho, if I break sprint with just ADS there is no instant snap. I must both go ads and fire to completely eliminate sprintout time. Does this make sense to you?

My set up for the Swat is Basically 1:1 with Ace’s first load out MINUS EXTENDED MAGS cause I like 3 perks and my Perks are Scavenger (helps with aggressive play and ammo economy), Engineer (because I hate claymores), and dead silent (ambush bitch)

This thing is sick. It’s almost identical to the vapr except it has QuickDraw. And to the titan and maddox complainers, get creative, and get good. This gun, the vapr, rampart, auger, swordfish, vkm, and spitfire all kill much faster than the maddox/titan, they’re just a little harder to use so there’s a skillgap

People like to cry about the maddox or titan because they’re very noob friendly weapons, but the fact of the matter is that you can beat them quite easily as long as you learn to use other, more skill intensive guns

I really love the swat, my only complaint is that I'm so used to the vapr where I'm able to outgun people up close but the swat I need to be more cautious with my gunfights because the spitfire usually melts up close pretty easily.

What do u run on ur vapr? Was my most used weapon in beta. 1st unlock token used on it, prob 1st or 2nd most used AR still, and I still dont have a perfect setup, im always altering attachments. Id say if im blowin loud I run double stock and fast mag, if im stealthy I'm running rapid fire,silencer stock. What do u run most often, especially for cqc?

Also I basically NEED sight on it whether its elo or reflex. Also I love rapid fire fast mag double stock, but thats 4 attachments and a sight so im only left with stim and gungho. I simply cannot get with iron sights for most gun fights tho, but if I do run no optic its on a class with silencer.

@@mille2b9 well what I usually do with my vapr is that I have two different classes with it, one with rapid fire, stock 1 and stock 2 and the other has rapid fire, fast mags and stock. The Vapr is still one of the best rifles for cqc but I don't see used as often compared to the maddox and spitfire.

I know how it feels to not find a class but Its all personal preference, you just gotta keep using your class that you like to use and get more practice with it. there's nothing wrong with altering attachment once in a while because sometimes we gotta have fun on using different attachments combos to improve gameplay :)

Can you do a video of how player outfits/camouflages affect your visibility to enemy players? I notice that I sometimes can only spot a player by the red lights on their outfit. That’s an advantage.

I wish more assault rifles had this 36 max damage. I get why giving the ICR-7 basically free High Caliber by only needing to hit 1 shot to the head for a 4 shot kill was maybe a bit much, but the 34 damage per shot it does now makes headshots completely irrelevant. Needing to hit 2 shots to the head seems totally fair.

@@jarencascino7604 It isn't when people aren't moving, but good players will never stand still or walk in a straight line. They know that they'll be harder to shoot if they strafe. This is especially prevalent on PC. Getting 4 headshots in a row is definitely pretty crazy. You're not going to be able to do that consistently.

I think the damage or HS multiplier should be tweaked to make it so that the ICR only needs 2 headshots to reduce the shots to kill by 1. The low HS multiplier was done to prevent fluke HS's from deciding a gunfight but if you get two HS's then it seems obvious that you were aiming for the head and you should be rewarded for your accuracy.

i always use gungho its perk 2 and quickdraw is an attachment available on most guns. there great i use quickdraw whenever possible.

I notice you always use the operator equipment. I can't argue with you that it's almost not worth using anything else and taking up a class slot, but some of the equipment can be super good like the Molotov. I use it all the time in objective modes like safeguard and domination and it's super good at denying doorways and passages from a range or even clearing dom flags.

Does the gung ho perk allow you to use the knife while sprinting?? Also does the lightweight perk actually increase your movement speed in any noticeable way?? (Currently grinding out camos for the knife and having a very miserable time in the process).

ExplodeEd lightweight has a small increase. I think that would be a good perk to use rather than gung Ho. For knife classes though I’ve found it best to load up on perk 3. Maybe even run underkill and launcher to get rid of those uavs since ur reliant on stealth.

Lightweight only helps when you're sprinting - no affect on your normal jogging speed. Gung Ho does let you knife while sprinting but it isn't good on knifing classes unless you're going for Tomahawk kills since you can wind up your throw while sprinting with Gung Ho.

Ok, can someone explain me? I saw it in every Gun Guide you made. If you have to shoot 5 rounds (bullets) to kill and your gun has a RPM of 625 the simple math is : 5 x 60 / 625 = 480 and not 384. This is in every single gun guide, a diference of 1 bullet. Anyone please?
