I'd love to see some other Essie reds, although some of my faves haven't been made up as gel couture or as gels. The first three of your reds are too warm for me. But I'd definitely wear Drop the Gown, Bubbles Only, and Gal-avanting. The others are too dark for me, too much contrast against my skin. These videos are so helpful. I'm guessing Drop the Gown would be the best for me.

My favourite one are Bubbles Only, which I have and GalaVanting. The other red in my Essie Gel Couture collection is Rue de la Ruby, a cool deep red. From the classic line I have Fishnet Stockings, A List, Russian Roulette, Lacquered up, Aperitif and Forever Yummy. I don’t know if some of them are Gel Couture’s dupes (like Rock the Runaway vs Lacquered up). Really Red is on my whishlist. I’d like to see more reds swatches, even from other brands 😍

Love your channel! I watch your vidoes while painting my nails. Essie GC is my absolute favorite line and the only one that will stay on my nails for more than a couple of days. I can usually get 5+ days with Essie GC. I think Flashed was the first one I purchased! Lady In Red is my favorite GC red!

Love your French manicure! It's very pretty, and a different take. I learned a tip for removing polish from a nail without messing up the other nails. Use a tampon...dip it in polish remover, and use it to take off the damaged polish. Since you're holding it away from the part with the remover, your other nails stay fine. Also works if you want to change your pedicure color without damaging your manicure. I believe that was on Zabrena's KZbin channel.

Oh my goodness! I never noticed that the Essie gel couture top coat had a different brush! I just checked and mine is totally like yours. And the cut isn’t quite as sharp as the regular brushes either. That is weird! Thank you for the idea of using a light color as a base coat with the dark colors. I do have one I don’t wear because I am afraid of staining. And MERRY CHRISTMAS!
