Hi! I have got a few reds from Essie and OPI, but we have got quite different ones ;). No surprise, they used to have two or three reddish polishes in every collection. Right now I'm wearing Russian roulette with green flakes. Thanks for the new video every few days! Have a lovely Friday everyone!

Really enjoyed the video. I don't have any of these but I adore the Essie reds I do have. Very good formulas and very good wear (on me anyway... your mileage may vary). "Red Nouveau" just about puts itself on, the formula is THAT good. And it wears like iron. Seriously. So, of course, they've discontinued it. You can still find it on Amazon and eBay. "Really Red" (which I bought in case I can't find Red Nouveau) has a very good formula and better than average wear. Both RN and RR are true red cremes. "A-List" has almost as good a formula as "Red Nouveau" and better than average wear. It's a deep, "just this side of vampy" red creme. One of my favorites across brands. I think I'll take the splurge for "Not Red-y for Bed," "Forever Yummy," and "Bordeaux." 🙂 By the way, I bought the sable brush you recommended for cleanup. What a difference from the brush I had been using! Worth every penny. Thank you!! Although truth be told, I don't use a cleanup brush as much since I started watching you and began to hit mistakes quickly with my orangewood stick!

My fav Essie reds are Wicked, Bordeaux, Forever Yummy and Geranium. The list is a bit longer for their Gel Couture reds. With your respective interests in nails and music, you might consider Deborah Lippmann. Her naming convention is song titles. Her Single Ladies, Lady is a Tramp, My Old Flame and It’s Raining Men are wonderful reds. Her Sexyback is my all-time favorite fuschia.

That is a good base coat for anyone who needs to wear a polish to keep from breaking a nail but doesn’t want the polish to show. On my monitor, I can’t even tell there is a base coat. Nice! I love red polishes. I don’t wear them a lot because I’m not as good at polishing as you are. Clean up can sometimes be easy but sometimes reds are hard to get off the skin. You really are perfect at polishing, Anna! That honestly was a perfect polishing job. They all are, though. You hardly ever do an oops and when you do, they are nothing. I think mostly, they happen because it’s hard to get the tip of the nail when there is no free edge. I do prefer men’s nails to be short, so that wasn’t a negative about Mr. Salon Life’s nails. MSL has nice, attractive nails. I just looked up Bushes of Love. Too funny! Thanks, Mr Salon Life!
