Loved this swatching video. I'm going to have to add the green gold and perylene green to my shopping list. I've never tried Winsor and Newton professional watercolours, but these swatches have inspired me to go for it!

Oh those are two of my favourite greens by Winsor and Newton ... I like their sap and olive too but do prefer options by other brands ... but the green gold and perylene green are stunning!

I have been watching your videos after finding your channel recently. I’ve really enjoyed everything especially the one with your daughter painting 🤩. She is absolutely darling!! She was so sweet too💕. It’s so nice to see how proud she was of her painting and she surprised me with how much talent she has!!! Im estimated she is about 4-5 years old. Just made my day!! Or night…lol. Since I watched it last night! Late. Very late…lol When you compared Green Gold to AZO Yellow I wanted to let you know what I just discovered last week. The pigment number for the Green Gold is called AZO green in M. Graham!?! I’m wondering if the real name of that pigment IS AZO GREEN?? Winsor Newton were the first brand I bought and used for quite some time before trying other brands. Like you I have always loved their Green Gold!! I’m going to check but I bet DS deep Green Gold is that same pigment. I found it interesting and thought you might too. I’d just bought some M. Graham paints and was setting up my palette when I noticed the pigment number. Since you have the Mission Gold Pure Pigment set I wanted to tell you that Azo Green pigment is also in the beginning of the earth colors.. I can’t recall the name right now but it’s pretty easy to find. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. I’m enjoying your channel!!! Blessings, Nancy Rolfe

Beautiful colors. I do have a few W&N colors and I really love them. A little over my budget, but definitely worth it.

yes brand new they are quite pricey but here in the UK they are always for sale on ebay and stuff so rarely have I bought a tube of those paints brand new at full cost.

@@MinaDoesArtStuff Yeah. Unfortunately now with Brexit everything has gotten more expensive here in Romania, but it's still worth carefully choosing a few colors.

do your middle pans move around and fall out, mine always do 😭

No mine are pretty snug but if they were loose I’d use magnets

Permanent Carmine has a pig.ent! It's PV19. It USED to be a natural pigment - maybe you have a very old pan/tube? Which website did you use to look up the pigment info? When? Maybe it was a typo? WN are quite lax on correcting typos I find.
@MinaDoesArtStuff Жыл бұрын
The pigment info was from the pan itself so it was probably an old pan when it came in my set

Naples Yellow Deep PBr24. It is not PBr7 as you said. ;)

Depends how old it is. That’s another one which has changed a few times over the years.
