Hello beautyloving unicorns and welcome to this video where I swatch out all of the new single eyeshadows by Colourpop. I didn't get all the new ones though, I opted out of three of them, two golds and a black (Karat Cake, Baby Lights & Nightdream). But other than that here they are, live swatched and then some closeups in different lights so you can make up your mind. Also threw in some swatches of the Chasing Rainbows palette, since it's on sale right now! :D

Angelica, I just wanted to thank you for what you do. I am a 38 yr old mother of two and a house wife who has been terrified of eyes shadows that weren't the typical "nudes". After watching some of your videos this weekend I was inspired to go outside of my norm and use a couple of pink matte colors and some pink metallic colors. When I finished and walked into my living room my daughters were speechless because I looked better than I normally do. Most of this comment could've been written by me lol. I'm also a 38 yr old mother of 2, stay at home mom for the last 9+ years, and up until about 9 months ago I was afraid of bright/bold colors. Now, they're my fave! I didn't even hardly wear eyeshadow at all til about 3 or 4 years ago when I started watching KZbin beauty videos. I must say, I'm always impressed with colourpop. Yes, they spit out product like nothing else, but they've for the most part, produced great value for money. I just wanted to say thank you for continuing to post videos regularly during the month of January. U had said in a video that alot of youtubers don't post in January because of decreased ad sales and boy where u right. I just saw a beauty youtuber i watch who said 'hey welcome to my first video of 2019" on the 21st of January this is her first video. I really don't think its wise for these beauty gurus to do this but i'm not involved in their finances obviously lol. But i admire you for filming regularly this year and i respect u alot. Belle Clementine I love using a bright silver like that in the inner corner with purple, red, or green looks. You can always add a bit of a white shimmer on top but if it’s not quite light enough

‘Tea Garden’ is stunning. One of my favourites for sure. 💚 I was super excited bout ‘Earthshine’, but it was kinda disappointing. I also got the silver, which is like foil. Stunning. And ‘Conjure Up’ which is nice.

Of the shades tou mentioned, I only have On a whimsy and Antimatter, reading all comments and seeing swatches, i wished i got Earthshine and Mr. Sandman as well, just that they look similar to some SSS I have and to some shades in my Golden State of Mind palette.

@@farmvetsph The two shades you have are beautiful and Antimatter is so unique. I compared the others against some in my collection so see if there are any close dupes. None of them are similar to the golden state palette and the quality of these is supreme to golden state. I found 3 very similar dupes in other palettes/singles though. Earthshine = Nablas Alchemy single On a Whimsy = Thickems in Colour Pop wet palette Mr Sandman = Retrograde in Huda Desert Dusk palette

If I hadn't bought it already you would've totally made me get it! 😁 The light duochrome gold and the light cool toned pink are so amazing as inner corner highlight, topper and alone on the lid. With my medium dark complexion, I love how well Conjour Up, Backstage, Try Me and Sleeper swatches on the eyelids. They show up really well. Sleeper has too much kick up but it blended so easily on me, while Hop On and Try Me(?) are very well packed with barely any kick up but the brush still gets a lot of pigment. Sadly, Take flight barely show on my lids even with concealer as based. I've created some looks on my BYOP and some repeats involve Sleeper, Paradiso and Try me. :D

Just after Christmas I did the BYOP sale, but I was staying around the $30 price so went with a 4 pan face plus 8 eyeshadows. I ended up grabbing 143, Issues, Let’s do It, Beam Me Up, Cutoffs, Paradiso, Quantum Sleep, &Try Me. I kinda did a look at then in groups of four , and then making sure the second group of four fits with the first so I can get multiple looks.

The black one with glitter is AWSOME - I mostly use it as a liner, and it isn't dry at all, has barely any fallout at all, and basically looks like a wet black :)

Sandbar is my all time favorite ColourPop matte! I fell in love with it in the Ooh La La palette so I bought a full size pan of it and Poodle. I just wish they would make the shade Opulent available in a single!!!

Thank you for all the swatches and your thoughts on these eyeshadows! I love this whole collection. I bought the Chasing Rainbows palette & I'm still debating which singles I'll end up buying. ;) I see the similarities between the My Little Pony & Chasing Rainbows but I really, really love how the Chasing Rainbows is a more cohesive and extended version. Plus, I do quite like pale pinks & they've been surprisingly difficult to find for some time. I look forward to playing with this when it arrives!

I have Heavenly in my ColourPop wishlist right now, and my wish to have it only amplified after seeing it in your video! I've been wanting to add a good mint green shimmer to my collection for a while, and I think it will fit the bill nicely. :) I will probably hold off on getting singles until I see the next set of "monochromatic" type palettes that ColourPop releases because I previously had Earthshine and Sleeper in my wishlist, and then they both ended up being included in the It's My Pleasure palette, so I added that to my wishlist instead (it also includes Mr. Sandman, which is a bonus nice shade for me). :) Here's hoping that Heavenly gets added to a really pretty green palette soon! Solstice With The Mostest... WOW. Paradiso is also really pretty. Mmmm. Duo chromes are my jam! Tea Garden and Thank U, Next look super cool.

The pigments that you felt were dry actually perform so well on the eyes! I tried them several times and I am so happy for picking them up, as many that I’ve tried previously have been either lacking pigment or been harder to work with 😄 Some shades from Looxi (f.ex. Heartbreaker, Maple) also feel dry to the touch, but are just so pigmented and easy to blend, I love it 😻

I got the saucy palette from the I love Sara collection & heavy glam was the first single I decluttered from that quad. If you want an intense magenta, raisin berry shade, Lit is the most beautiful shade! It has been one of my favorites from colourpop in general. Along with glass bull. But mr sandman is definitely giving glass bull a run for its title of my absolute favorite. 😋

Thanks in advance. I just tried Colourpop for the first time ever last month, and now I can't get enough of their shadows. I love the Super Shock, the regular pressed powder singles, the Jelly Much... they're all wonderful. I'd like to try a palette next, but I can't choose which one. Maybe I'll try the Shayla palette since it is a good dupe for the UD Born To Run. I have BTR, but it was so disappointing. There was very little pigment and the colors tend to muddy together. The woman I bought it from even warned me, LOL!

@@AngelicaNyqvist I was just going to suggest the Dose of Colors Snow Angels navy because it is my FAVORITE!! I use it as a liner often because it's less harsh on my not-so-young skin. ;) @Rikki Spanish I know it's not a single but every other color in that palette is also worth every penny.

I've ordered HEAVENLY & BABY LIGHTS .. I can't wait to try them tomorrow !.. also I knew I had to add Mr. Sandman to it but I think I'm happy I didn't because it's in the purples heaven palette (that's what it called in my mind lol) together with earth shine & misty... I want a coral single & couple of duochromes & im done with my singles collection (its pretty small & curated ) ! Maybe I'll do a 9 pan pallette with cool toned eyeshadows from MUG & im set 😂😂

I just received my order with the chasing rainbows pallet and I’m certain I will get a lot of use out of it because it’s very “wearable “ colorful shadows and I have found some of my favorite things are to switch it up from the neutral looks and treating more colorful shadows as my neutrals. Same honey, I hate the bone colours. If you have other Colourpop palettes that you’ve deported/only want a few colours and want to declutter most shades, pop out wiggles and pop in the other shade, might as well take advantage of the fact that they’re magnetised. Or I might be the only one who legitimately does this because I’m a bit maniacal with my eyeshadow palettes.

Angelica, So... Thanks for this video to start my low buy strong💪🏽 and with a bang!! I had to keep telling myself i have this color!! That antimatter shade i STILL want🤔 and i have 2 of the same shade just slight variations from Makeup geek and Colouredrain!! So obviously I love it! I can't wait for you to use tea garden! I have had that color for so long but I love it and want it to be impactful! I feel like if I just threw it on my lid you just won't be able to see how beautiful it is?🤷🏽 So I think I will take your advice and try it with a brown crease?! Idk still hope you do a look with it! The first 3 ROWS, not shades but rows were my favorite! I especially like Mr. Sandman and thank you next for a duo, I think that could stunn?!
