we cut ours on Saturday and baled today and isn't going to rain down there because up here in Lawrence it going to rain for the rest of the week starting on Wednesday
@AndersonCattleCo7 жыл бұрын
Greg will you get 4 cuts ? In southern Alberta we can get 3 but you have to cut early and not get it rained on in the swath or get early snow in the fall. Alfalfa is one of my favorite crops, after you establish it no fert , no chem ,just cut and bale it.

curiosity has me you guys run haybine heads. have y'all ever tried the discbine mowers
@piperdoug4287 жыл бұрын
Yeah here in Manitoba we run a HW340 with 16ft disc header 7-8 mph, once youv gone disc youll never go back, especially if you have mole hills n gophers.
@c.carney19484 жыл бұрын
PIPER DOUG that tractor may not have enough horse power to run they same amount of disk, disk take a lot of hp. That being said I love a disk mower.

Sean Wilson I have never had the opportunity to operate a bi-directional, but it looks like a very versatile tractor, also looks fun!!

How do you lower the headers
@Tractors_Trucks_And_Pups4 жыл бұрын
Hydraulics on the back one that are powers by a remote (just meaning where you plug a hose into) and the front is powers by 3 point I think, so the tractor lifts and lowers the bars (connected to the mower) therefore lowering (or lifting) it, I hope this kinda makes sense
