In India, usually when any anomaly is diagnosed, they stopped going to that Dr. Their mentality is that, the Dr can be changed and hope for a new diagnosis. This mentality is because, the patients have the liberty of seeing any consultant as they wish. But in Europe/ UK/US, this is not practically possible. Once a consultant is assigned, no patients can change their consultant until the primary dr refers to a higher level centre.
