Swati Maliwal On May 13 Incident: 'Stop Me If I Was Trespassing, Why Beat Me?'

Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal on Saturday said that if she was trespassing into the Chief Minister’s home on May 13 then she should have been stopped at the entrance gate of Kejriwal's residence. "... If was trespassing, then stop me at the gate. How is it that I entered the drawing room of the Chief Minister? Obviously, I was called inside and that's how I went... If it was a problem, stop me at the gate, why do you have to beat me up...," she said while speaking exclusively to India Today TV. Notably, Maliwal has alleged that she was assaulted by Kejriwal's personal assistant Bibhav Kumar at the Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on May 13. Kumar has been arrested. Maliwal claimed that the brutal assault by Bibhav did not stop even after she mentioned that she was on her periods. After the assault, Maliwal claimed her arms were sore and she had difficulty walking.
