Yesterday I was browsing your repo's and saw a recent edit on the sway repo and wondered when a new video was coming and then I saw the old sway videos tagged obsolete. So I was not surprised to see this pop last night. I liked it, so thanks to snapper I can restore to the basic install and install sway right now!

Great video! What a nice config you created. Sway Notification Center is great. You might want to try gbar sometime instead of waybar

This looks great. I noticed you're using rofi but I think wofi is supposed to be a wayland version of rofi, right? Is there a reason you chose one over the other?

Wofi is an option. There is a Weyland version of rofi I am using. That way I can use The same configuration files for both Wayland and X11

I'm having issues with certain apps can't be launch from rofi, like timeshift to get it to launch it's gui interface I had to use tilix sudo timeshift-launcher but only if I had executed xhost + first

I love Debian very very much but one quirk that I just can not find how to fix is the annoying "Welcome to Grub" that flashes in the top left of the screen when I want a nice modern looking boot experience like 99% of other distros. Any chance you could make a video about how to achieve this on Debian? I have looked everywhere it seems and it basically seems darn near impossible and that sucks. This seems like a simple and reasonable thing to want from a distro. I've been on Linux for 16 years but I like to keep things simple and friendly to keep stress out of my life.

I noticed that you are installing Redshift. According to the dev it doesn't work on Wayland. There doesn't appear to be any alternatives. I found some forks but they were several years old.

Great Stuff BUT on my newly installed Ubunty 24.04 LTS all wored geret except that the Sway has not been added to the loginscreen as it did not do last time (I mean prevous script). Anyone any idea?
