The reason he spawned inside your base is that you have 7 blocks that are broken, so the mob's height is around 7 or 6, allowing it to spawn inside your base.

You should use redstone and make a door of blocks that opens when you press a button, since stuff seems to be able to break doors easily, not to mention it closes behind you, there will be an issue with looking out and if you panic to hard to press it but I think it will help you alot Edit: Piston door, sorry my brain wasnt working

Also, I think the reason why the Dweller King was Tweaking out like that in the Stronghold was because it was having problems spawning in. It looked like it spawned inside the Blocks for the Stronghold. Also, if you need a "God Bow" or "God Crossbow", I have the Enchantment List for each of them. God Bow: • Unbreaking III. • Infinity. • Flame. • Punch II. • Power V. God Crossbow: • Mending. • Unbreaking III. • Quick Charge IV. • Multishot. Now, I think I might have a Way for you to actually take most of the Dwellers on. We know that they move Fast as soon as you break Eye Contact with them, so Arrows of Slowness or Arrows of Slowness II are in order. We also know that they take a Couple of Whacks from an Axe in order to kill them, So Arrows of Harming or Harming II are also in order. However, we don't know about whether or not they are an Undead mob like a Zombie, so Arrows of Healing or Healing II might be in order as well. Another thing we don't know about is how they'll track down the Players who've made eye contact with them, so Arrows of Blindness and Nausea or Blindness II and Nausea II might be in order too. Splash Potions might be Needed for when the Dwellers get too close to even reload your Crossbow. So to Recap, get Arrows and Splash Potions for Slowness/Slowness II, Harming/Harming II or Healing/Healing II, Blindness/Blindness II and Nausea/Nausea II. I'll have the Recipes for these guys in a Later video for you if you're up to do some Brewing. Something else you might Need, especially with the Crossbow are Firework Rockets with Flight Duration 1 or 2. Use a Light Grey Burst (Using a Feather in the Firework Stars Crafting Recipe) and then a Red and a Light Blue Firework Star for your Fireworks. These are Meant to act as Flares to light up Suspiciously Dark Areas where dwellers could and Just might Spawn, albeit for a Brief moment, but they can also act as some extra Firepower if the Dwellers do Show themselves. These Colors are Specifically Chosen as they are your Channel and Minecraft Skin Colors, so they are literally Custom Made for you.
