How is it controversial to say Kendrick Lamar is the GOAT? If he quit today who has a better discography? Who made a bigger impact on music? Who covered more subject manner and showed you more styles and flows and cadences and vibes? He’s got better consistency than anyone else. He’s already proven longevity. And the level of artistic intelligence the man possesses is astounding. Greatest of all times 🐐

@@treycarter7826there’s nothing to break down. Nas might have more misses but that’s because he’s had a career twice as long….thats going to happen if Kendrick keeps recording for another 20 years. But Nas is rapping better and making better music at 50 than damn near everyone….thats never been done before. He is honestly the GOAT of this. But Kendrick is definitely up there with him.
@theonewhoknocks31073 ай бұрын
@@treycarter7826 Black thought and 3 stacks are 2 of my top 5’s…but thought has never done any real solo albums on a consistent basis (Roots albums are ROOTS albums) and 3 stacks has only done one solo-ish album with love below. Nas has the best album ever in Illmatic, a classic follow up with it was written, Stillmatic, God son, life is good, the lost tapes, kings disease trilogy and Magic….all of which are either certified classics or close classics. What’s a classic roots album? Things fall apart? That’s it. Hov has RD, blueprint, black album, hard knock life….3 classics. Nas has arguably 7 classic projects bro…that’s an insane output over 30 years. Some of the most classic features ever (incarcerated Scarface’s, live at the bbq, etc). Nas has had like 3-4 primes, he keeps finding new ways to create and reinvent himself. Who is doing what he’s doing at 50? Nobody bro…he’s the only one to ever be this good THIS long. It’s not a weak argument, i just listed facts. An opinion is a weak argument, facts are irrefutable.

@@i.m.6758 *I can't argue with someone that says Kendrick (is goat)* because ultimately guy has one of the most consistent quality catalogs ever. And to your point: 3K yep. He's a student. A culmination of the lyrical theatrics of Wayne, the technicality of Em, the emotive conscious writing of Pac, and the creative engaging flow with offbeat edge that of Andre. Lupe is my GOAT personally. However, I'm not gonna debate the conclusion of KDot being *_the_* 🐐

BIG UP Jon Keith. It don't have to be 'Christian' to 'glorify' God. The art and skillset shown by musicians/artists in and of itself is glorifying because they are displaying what they have been gifted with, regardless of content. CHH community needs to learn the difference between 'skill/art' and 'content'. You can trash the 'debauchery' in the messaging/content. But you can always appreciate the skill/art. Tree's don't preach. But they are still beautiful.
