Tough loss for Czechia! I thought they played better. They were quicker to the ball, got more spring on their digs. But all that said, it was very close! Hellvig's superb blocking won Sweden the match!

Nope, you are always allowed to set the ball on first contact. It is judged the same as any other handset. The difference is that on a hard driven ball a certain amount of lift/double is allowed as well. You could theoretically use your hands on serve reception. But it would be hard to get a clean contact.

You can play hands literally any time, if it is clear. Hard driven ball can be played dirty.
