Love it Jo Not sure I'd wear pullover nails either but good to know! Would be interested to know how you use acrylic to fix broken nails as I have clients who hammer their nails! I tend to glue and patch. X

Yes I don't see myself wearing them any time soon 🤣 I use it for low breaks that haven't reached the free edge, just to patch them until they do, and then can reshape, file, or cut and tip. I use a little glue, then dip in the powder. Once dry, I give it a buff. It doesn't really work once the break is at the fingertip or on the free edge, but good for side splits on the nail bed x

I think they are called sweaters because you usually have to wear layers, at some point you eventually become a "sweater" and have to remove it to cool down.🤷🏻‍♀️😆 That's true for Texas anyway. Then it's too cold so you have to put it on again 5 minutes later. It's really a never ending vicious cycle of take it off, and put it back on until winter is over. But what do I really know, it's 82 degrees in November here 🤷🏻‍♀️😉 Love the jumper nails though 😍

Textured is also a good word for embossed too, they're kinda like a substitute for fidget spinners etc. only on your nails to play with the different textures lol live the glitter ones,minus doggyfuzz👍😂 I can't with you .."what is that in my acrylic? Do u apply top coat over the glitters

I leave them 'raw' for this sort of design. If you wanted a topped glitter cable knit, you could apply thinner knit designs with the gel polish, then add a fine glitter before curing, and then top (and optionally buff and top again for smoothness) Or, you could use an ultra fine glitter and half cure the gel knit pattern, then burnish (cover and lightly rub in) the glitter to it, dust off and then top. Hope that makes sense!

Honestly...I don't know 🤣 I don't work with either! I'm guessing they're pretty similar as the dip powders have an activator. Personally I think think whole dip system is pretty gimmicky, but somehow it caught on! Such a long winded way of doing things 😆😆
